“Alan Distillery” was established in 1995 by Harold Curry, who has many years of experience in the whiskey industry, including representing Seabass Brothers.
At its peak, 50 large and small distilleries were in operation, and until the last distillery was closed in 1836, it was famous for producing great whiskey.
In the 19th century, some whiskey critics described Alan Whiskey as one of Scotland’s finest whiskeys.
