Speaking of the Glenrivet, it is Speyside’s famous sake.
George Smith, a former Highland smuggler, decided to apply for the first government-approved distillery in 1824.
It is often said that other forged men are aiming for life, and it is said that they carried two pistols for self-defense. The pistols are still displayed in the distillery.
The recipe and recipes from about 200 years ago have been revived in modern times. Smooth and perfectly balanced single malt [Glen Rivet Founders Reserve].
