“100% Islay” is a single malt made from all the processes of cultivation, malting, distillation, aging and bottling of barley on Islay Island.
The 6th release is the 6th world release of the “100% Ira” style!
Batting and bottling the fresh casks of Bourbon (Buffalo Trace) and the original sake aged for 5 to 6 years in each refill cask.
Aroma is fruity, sweet aroma, herb.
The taste is lemon tart, vanilla, salty peat smoke and maple syrup.
The finish is very clean, with a long lasting gentle smoke and oat sweetness.
